This is Jack's grandmother's diamond. We chose aquamarine for the petal stone because early in our relationship, jack gave me raw aquamarine that he found while on a hike. The jeweler couldn't use that stone, so we bought the stones from them. The band was chosen by Jack. We liked the simplicity of it and it has a vine engraved in it that goes along with the whole flower theme. We found out later that Aquamarine is March birthstone. Funny - we put notes under each other's doors on March 1, 2007 and had our first date March 2, 2007. This is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. I feel so honored to wear it.
